CHILDREN’S COMMUNITY SCHOOL LIFECHANGER AWARD WINNER

We are excited to share that Ms. Arjelis has been named the Grand Prize winner of the National LifeChanger Award! She was notified via Zoom this week, and while her family knows, the school staff and students have not yet been informed.

They will be presenting her with the official award next Thursday, April 3rd, during our all-school assembly at 9:00 a.m. This is a tremendous honor, and we are incredibly proud of Ms. Arjelis, who has been part of the CCS family for 14 years in various roles. Out of 750 nominees, she was selected as the top recipient.

 Arjelis Heredia has been selected as a National Life Group LifeChanger of the Year award winner!

We’re pleased to share the recent announcement that our middle school teacher, Arjelis Heredia, has been selected as the 2024-25 National Life Group LifeChanger of the Year Grand Prize Winner. Arjelis is receiving a $10,000 cash prize to share with her school as well as national recognition.

LifeChanger of the Year is a national program that recognizes educators for the positive difference they make in the lives of their students, for being a leader in the school community, for exemplifying excellence as an educator and for creating a nurturing atmosphere in our schools. Awards are funded by the National Life Group Foundation and the National Life Group with LifeChanger of the Year strive to shine a spotlight on all the good that happens in schools across the country.

We’ve always known that our school has many incredible educators, and we are so excited that one of our own is being recognized as a National Life Group LifeChanger of the Year winner.
